A Self-Portrait Shoot

I feel beyond self conscious for posting self portraits that aren't cheesey tourist photos or YAY FAMILY PHOTO TIME or in the name of art. After all, I am the queen of mocking those who take super serious, oh-so-vain photos of themselves, right? But sometimes, you have a vision in your head and the only proper person to pose is...you. And sometimes it's nice to have the challenge of taking executing such visions all alone. And sometimes your baby won't nap and your husband is working a twelve hour shift and you just do it. Anyway.

(I love the tans and browns that come with fall so.much, so this photo is being entered in the Beth Cole Handmade photo color challenge.)

  1. These are so sweet! I have such a beautiful sister. :) The tans in the background really match your pretty highlights in your hair!

  3. Oh I love the grass. I want wedding pictures in that grass some day :)
I love how you and your child are interacting...it is just so "bookish", if that makes any sense :)

  4. That is so awesome! All of our press photos (the ones of us on our blog and site) were self portraits lol. We just used a tripod and remote!
