Hello, my name is Clara.
I am a 20-something-year-old award-winning photographer from central Nebraska. I delight in taking beautiful, natural light portraits that represent relationships between people.
(Fun times developing film with coffee and vitamin C.)
At one point or another in high school or college, I seriously considered majoring in one of the following:

At one point or another in high school or college, I seriously considered majoring in one of the following:
- Cello performance
- Graphic design
- Jewish studies
- Radio broadcasting
- Communications
- Photojournalism
- Equine studies
- Fiber arts
- Biblical counseling
When I am not making art with my camera, I am usually busy pursuing one of my other interests (knitting, experimenting with crazy fiber art ideas, sewing, playing the cello, reading and dreaming of traveling and learning how other people live) and taking care of my babies. Little things make me really happy, like Altoids, the color blue, well-written children's books (Frog and Toad and George and Martha are always good), old family photos, knowing all the words to musicals and the second piercing in my left ear.
I am married to my wonderful Levi, who constantly inspires me by the way he makes art with pen and paper

(you can find some of his art here: Cherry Beach Ball Face). He is also my fantastic photographer's assistant and he lends his artistic abilities and personable attitude to me when he shoots second for me at most of my weddings. We are the proud parents of two sweet girls, who bring nothing but joy into their lives.
